The credit union owner list of core processing CUSO CU*Answers has now crossed the century mark, with eight new stockholders pushing the number to 101.

They are the $204 million Heartland CU of Springfield, Ill.; the $76 million NorthStar CU of Warrenville, Ill.; the $50 million Lake Huron CU of Saginaw, Mich.; the $50 million Birmingham-Bloomfield CU of Birmingham, Mich.; the $39 million EdCo Community CU and the $35 million Des Moines Police Officers CU, both of Des Moines, Iowa; the $47 million Advantage CU of Newton, Iowa; and the $27 million Public Service CU of Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based CUSO offers ownership to credit unions that use its CU*BASE core processing system.

Scott Page, CU*Answers executive vice president, said, “It speaks volumes for credit unions desiring to participate with their core processor in a unique, refreshing model.”

CU*Answers said it now provides core processing and additional products and services to about 190 credit unions in 24 states.
