San Diego County Credit Union is now offering remote mobile deposit capture to members using either Android or iPhone devices.
The $5.4 billion SDCCU said it's the first San Diego-based credit union to offer mobile RDC.
The service is available to the credit union's 225,000 members through registration at its online banking site. SDCCU uses the Corillian Internet banking platform from Fiserv Inc., which also is providing the mobile tools.
“Our customers now have total convenience and don't need to rely on a branch or an ATM to make deposits. This free and convenient eService provides our customers with the latest in mobile technology and an overall better banking experience,” said SDCCU President/CEO Teresa Halleck.
