The $28 million Northwest Hills Credit Union of Torrington, Conn. has solidified its Litchfield County footprint by completing the merger this month of the $2 million C.H.H. CU also of Torrington.

C.H.H., which has 1,100 members, had served the employees of the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

The merger, said a release, "brought two well known credit unions together with more than 90 years of combined services" to service healthcare facilities through northwest Connecticut.   Northwest Hills has 6,500 members and one office.
