The end-of-the-year Christmas party was a good setting for presenting 2011 Personal Achievement Awards to staffers at the $253 million Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union in the northern Lower Michigan town of Alpena. The winners are feted each year to employees who made a conscious effort toward improving themselves educationally during the year through such activities as college classes, credit union conferences and seminars, annual meetings and chapter fucntions.
