Genisys Credit Union has installed 11 new Diebold Deposit Automation ATMs, providing members and nonmembers the speed and convenience of depositing checks and cash without using an envelope.
These depositories enable users to insert cash or checks into the appropriate ATM slot where it goes into their account without all of the paperwork. They are then provided with an image of their check and a denomination breakdown on their receipt for their records, Diebold said.
The ATMs accept either single notes or bundles of notes – up to 30 – in different orientations with user-friendly instructions, graphics and touch screens. Voice guidance is also available with use of a headset to guide users through the transaction if needed.
“Genisys is committed to looking for ways to improve its ATM service, which is why we now have a total of 12 Deposit Automation ATMs in use,” said Chris DeWitt, senior vice president of member services af the $1.4 billion Genisys in the Detroit suburb of Auburn Hills, Mich.
