For the fourth year, the $2.9 billion San Antonio Federal Credit Union is offering its SACU Bridge for U Scholarship program, designed for members who have completed two years of community college and have been accepted at a four-year college or university.

SACU will award seven scholarships to qualified full-time students who are also members in good standing at SACU for a minimum of one year. Each scholarship's total award is $3,000, with $1,500 payable at the beginning of the fall 2011 and spring 2012 semesters.

Applications must be submitted by U.S. Mail with the postmark deadline of Feb. 15, 2012. Winners will be notified in March 2012.

“These SACU scholarship recipients are primed for success in completing a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university. SACU is pleased to help support their move into the next stage of their education,” SACU CEO Jeff Farver said.
