Engaging consumers where they are now and in the future will be key topics at NAFCU's 2012 Technology and Security Conference set for Feb. 14-16 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Breakout sessions will be on such topics as the latest IT trends and strategies; FFIEC guidance on authentication and anomalies; the top credit union fraud claims and loss prevention; data breach planning and procedures; and common lending data language, the trade group said.

Keynote speaker will be Peter Leyden, former managing editor of Wired magazine and co-author of "The Long Boom: A Vision for the Coming Age of Prosperity." He'll address shifts and technology and media and how they're used by different generations.
