NAFCU will be presenting a webinar on the new FFIEC guidance during a webcast from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Randy Romes from LarsonAllen will discuss the guidance, issued this summer, and cover such points as the evolution of hacking and the fraud environment, how to manage risk in various interactions with members and strategies for “stronger, more reasonable member authentication,” the trade group said.

Registration and other information for members and non-members are online. A deadline of this Wednesday, Dec. 7, has been set for early registration savings.

NAFCU said Romes also will present in a session at its 2012 Technology and Security Conference set for Feb. 14-16 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
