The $41 million USA One Credit Union in Matteson, Ill., said it is planning “to open thousands of new branch locations throughout Chicagoland” with its launch of mobile banking.

The 8,400-member USA One has two physical locations and now has added mobile banking apps for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry users at those platforms' respective downloading sites.

“We're all busier than ever these days and fitting your banking needs into a brick and mortar branch's service hours isn't always easy,” said Jerry Haley, president of USA One CU.

“Our intuitive, easy-to-read USA One Mobile App enables credit union members to quickly pay bills, transfer funds between USA accounts, check their account balances, and conduct other transactions that previously required a visit to one of our branch offices,” Haley said. Alerts also can be sent by text.

The mobile banking technology came from the credit union's provider of the Sharetec core processing platform, Bradford-Scott Data Corp. of Indianapolis.
