The $6.5 billion Security Service Federal Credit Union in San Antonio will be deploying a new customer relationship management system from CIBER Inc. of Greenwood Village, Colo.

The Colorado firm said it will be implementing the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system in phases at 865,000-member Security Service, beginning with automation of common member requests and business process redesign in the service center, followed by upgrades at member service centers and the credit union's 69 branches in Texas, Colorado and Utah.

The changes will simplify training, reduce errors, cut costs and improve member service, Security Service said, as well as consolidate functions now handled by several applications into one user interface.

“Working with CIBER, we will be adding technology to help our associates serve members more efficiently and empower members to help themselves through automated service options,” said Todd Renaud, vice president of MIS for Security Service.

CIBER said it now has more than 8,500 employees and operates in 19 countries in North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific.
