Credit unions are being called on again to contact their respective lawmakers to support legislation that would raise the member business lending cap.
CUNA and NAFCU have said increasing the current 12.25% MBL cap to 27.5% would help credit unions be a channel to creating more jobs.
The New Jersey Credit Union League is the latest to encourage support. NJCUL's Online Grassroots Action Center is available online.
