Xtend Inc. said it has gained two more credit union owners and contracted with two others for call center services.
The 59th and 60th owners are the $125 million Citizen's FCU in San Antonio, Fla., and the $50 million Birmingham-Bloomfield CU of Birmingham, Mich., the Grand Rapids, Mich., CUSO said.
"SACFCU is our first Florida-based owner and has been a great client in our network for more than a decade. Although BBCU is one of our newest partners, they are already plugging our branded services into their business plan for the coming year," said Xtend President Scott Collins.
The new call center clients are the $67 million South Bay CU of Redondo Beach, Calif., and the $65 million Oak Trust CU of Naperville, Ill.
Xtend said it recently worked with both credit unions during their conversions to the CU*BASE core processing system from Xtend affiliate CU*Answers.
Collins said, "I had the opportunity to brainstorm with both Jennifer (South Bay CU Jennifer Oliver) and Jim (Oak Trust CU CEO Jim Dean) during their respective data processing searches, and both were intrigued by the cooperative philosophy that permeates our shared resources network." The call center now supports more than three dozen credit unions and CUSOs.
