ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The NCUA's budget for next year will be $236.8 million, a 5.1% increase over this year, according to a spending plan the NCUA Board approved today.
The budget includes money for 33 new employees, including 26 for examination-related spots. It also increases spending in all the main categories except for administrative costs.
The spending plan was approved during the board's meeting this morning at the agency's headquarters in Alexandria, Va.
