The $82 million, 6,300-member Chevron West Credit Union of Woods Cross, Utah, will be upgrading its core processing system to the CUnify platform from Open Solutions Inc., the company and credit union said.
Chevron West CU currently is running on a legacy SOSystems platform from the Glastonbury, Conn., company. CUnify is the rebranded name for what had been the company's DNA sme (Small Market Edition) solution.
Chevron West also will be using the DNAweb online banking and DNAvoice telephony solution, all running remotely through the company's Global Operations Center.
Chevron West serves employees and families of Chevron Corp. and its subsidiaries and has three full-service branches along with its electronic offerings.
“We chose to upgrade to CUnify because we wanted to serve our member community with the most up-to-date technology available,” stated Matt Ferrin, CFO, Chevron West Credit Union.
Open Solutions has said it now has more than 450 credit unions using its flagship DNA core processing platforms.
