Credit unions should set aside between 8 and 11 basis points for next year's assessment to pay for the corporate credit union rescue, NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz said Wednesday.

Matz also said the assessment for the NCUSIF will be between zero and 7 basis points for the NCUSIF but they hope there won't have to be any.

This year, the assessment for the corporate rescue was 25 basis points and there was no assessment for the NCUSIF.
