Cardtronics Inc., the owner of the Allpoint Network, a nationwide ATM network that provides fee-free ATM transactions to card holders, has signed a deal with the Harris Teeter supermarket chain.
Charlotte,N.C.-based Harris Teeter is the 24th largest supermarket chain in the country with 205 locations spread across eight states and the District of Columbia.
As part of the deal, Houston-based Cardtronics said it will install machines in 100 of the grocery chain's locations that will part of the Allpoint Network. The firm also has the right to place ATMs in newly opening Harris Teeter stores.

And our experience, scale and stability enabled Cardtronics to execute the initial ATM rollout schedule within an expedited timeframe,” said Rick Updyke, president, U.S. Business Group, Cardtronics.
