Corporate Central Credit Union in Muskego, Wis., has announced a relationship with Midwest labor relations firm Linder & Marsack to bring what Corporate Central calls “HR Solutions” to credit union members.

“We have had increasing requests for this,” said Chris Felton, Corporate Central senior vice president.

A trigger event, added Felton, is a Wisconsin law – to take effect Nov. 1 – that permits concealed carry of firearms under many circumstances.  The law apparently will permit members to bring firearms into credit unions and employees also will apparently be permitted to carry weapons.

“That has raised many questions with members,” Felton said.

Accordingly, a kick-off HR event hosted by Corporate Central is an Oct. 28 Webinar – free to Corporate Central members – that will explore the law and its ramifications for credit unions.

A suite of additional services – such as review of HR policies and job descriptions – will also be available to Corporate Central members, typically at no cost, Felton said.

Felton added that for members with significant need for HR consulting, fee-based services will also be available from Lindner & Marsack.

“We have worked with Lindner & Marsack for a number of years and found their firm to be a tremendous partner to Corporate Central Credit Union,” said Robert Fouch, president/CEO in a statement.

Fouch added, “The ever-changing employment environment and legal complexities members face on a daily basis were strong drivers in partnering with Lindner & Marsack to deliver solutions and resources members need. By launching HR Solutions, our members will benefit from the experienced education we are able to offer, most at little or no charge, as well as having a human resource expert in Lindner & Marsack to turn to for assistance.”
