Synergent Technology Services said it will be deploying remote service offerings at four of its client credit unions, all in its home state of Maine.
Two of them – the $332 million Maine State CU of Augusta and the $132 million cPort CU in Portland – will launch mobile banking service from Softek Access. Shared branching will be provided to the $17 million HealthFirst FCU in Waterville and the $131 million PeoplesChoice CU in Biddeford will deploy Opening Act's account opening and lending solution, Synergent said.
“Through our relationships with third-party vendors, as well as our experience implementing these products in credit unions of all sizes, Synergent has developed best practices on how to implement new products, making it easy and cost effective for credit unions to introduce products that respond to their members' needs,” said senior vice president at the subsidiary of the Maine Credit Union League.
Synergent is based in Westbrook, Maine, and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The company said it now provides check processing for more than 100 credit unions across the Northeast. Its other services include a Symitar core processing service bureau.
