Today was the first day the Kansas Credit Union Association occupied new rented digs following the relocation of its Wichita office.

The new site on north Ridge Road in Wichita follows an announcement last July of KCUA swapping its headquarters property in a purchase deal with the $385 million Credit Union of America.

CUA in Wichita agreed to buy the KCUA headquarters building in connection with an expansion venture, including the merger of $72 million First Choice CU.

The KCUA said its toll-free phone and fax numbers remain the same for its new location, which houses the trade group's education and training marketing, communications and consulting departments, as well as KCUA's for-profit entity Shared Financial Solutions.
