Integrated teller capture and item processing have been deployed at the $50 million Hawaii Pacific Federal Credit Union in Honolulu.

The 7,100-member CU runs on Open Solutions' DNA platform and has deployed the Glastonbury, Conn., company's DNAtMagic integrated teller capture and OpenCheck outsourced item processing solutions through Open Solutions' Global Operations Center.

The DNAtMagic solution scans checks, savings and checking deposit slips, withdrawal tickets, loan coupons and general ledger tickets into the core system in real time, reducing keystroke errors and day two adjustments, the company said. It also enables tellers to better focus on member service, Open Solutions said.
