A new account opening and loan origination platform from MeridianLink Inc. of Costa Mesa, Calif., will be deployed at the $966 million Elevations CU in Boulder, Colo., the company and credit union said.

The new solution will help the 85,000-member Elevations automate those processes both online and in its branches while lessening the use of paper, part of the credit union's Green Policy Initiative.

"We currently have a lot of disparity between software applications and ancillary processes. By bringing a seamless experience to both our members and staff, we can spend more time serving our membership and less time wrestling with the technology," said Matthew Henry, Elevations' chief information and administrative officer.

The MeridianLink solution will be integrated with the credit union's new Symitar core processing system, along with ID verification, check orders and credit report processes, the company and credit union said.

"The integration of new accounts, lending and other ancillary software programs into one convenient, easy-to-use platform also offers optimum cross-sales advantages," added Tim Nguyen, chief technology officer at MeridianLink.
