After evaluating more than 500 credit unions, Raddon Financial Group recently selected the top 20 with the highest performance in 2010.
Research firm Raddon grouped the CUs in two asset classes: those above and below $500 million in assets. The winners were presented with the Crystal Performance award at Raddon and Open Solutions Inc.'s CEO Forum in August.
The honorees were America's CU (Fort Lewis, Wash.), Community CU of Florida (Rockledge, Fla.), Community Financial Members FCU (Plymouth, Mich.), Community First CU (Appleton, Wis.), Deere Employees CU (Moline, Ill.), Dow Louisiana FCU (Plaquemine, La.), Dupaco Community CU (Dubuque, Ia.), Ent FCU (Colorado Springs, Colo.), F&A FCU (Monterey Park, Calif.), Lockheed FCU (Burbank, Calif.), Randolph-Brooks FCU (Live Oak, Texas), Robins FCU (Warner Robins, Ga.), San Diego County CU (San Diego), SchoolsFirst FCU (Santa Ana, Calif.), SeaComm FCU (Massena, N.Y.), Sound CU (Tacoma, Wash.), Southland CU (Los Alamitos, Calif.), SouthPoint FCU (Sleepy Eye, Minn.), Spokane Teachers CU (Liberty Lake, Wash.) and SunState FCU (Gainesville, Fla.).
To be eligible for the award, a CU must have participated in an in-depth analysis of its financials, sales, products and member household relationships, according to Raddon.
The firm said each Crystal Performance award recipient ranked among the top 2% or 3% of all CUs analyzed by Raddon for two consecutive reporting periods.
Illinois-based Raddon is a business unit of Open Solutions, a provider of core processing applications based in Connecticut.
