Two more credit unions have signed on for electronic check collection and shared draft services from Synergent, according to the wholly owned subsidiary of the Maine Credit Union League.

They are the $218 million Waterbury CT Teachers FCU in Middlebury, Conn., and the $136 million MOOG Employees FCU in East Aurora, N.Y.

The company also said it has recently implemented check processing services at the following credit unions, all in Connecticut: the $37 million Tobacco Valley Teachers FCU and $23 million Enfield Community CU, both in Enfield; the $20 million MiddConn FCU in Middletown; the $14 million Connecticut Labor Department FCU in Wethersfield; the $68 million First New England FCU in East Hartford, and the $688 million Charter Oak FCU in Groton.

Synergent is based in Westbrook, Maine, and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The company it now provides check processing for more than 100 credit unions across the Northeast. Its other services include a Symitar core processing service bureau.
