The 182,000 members of GTE Federal Credit Union in Tampa, Fla., can now use smartphones to send and receive payments and deposit checks.

The $1.4 billion GTEFCU said its new Deposit2Go application provides desktop scanner and iPhone and Android support for RDC and includes access to copies of deposited checks online for 18 months.

More functionality for recurring payments also has been added to the bill pay offering, which also now includes ZashPay, a P2P service that allows users to send and receive funds to anyone with a U.S. bank account through a mobile phone or email address.

ZashPay is a Fiserv Inc. product while GTEFCU is using PSCU Financial Services for its online banking and bill pay solutions.
