EPL Inc. said it has converted the $51 million Community Credit Union of Southern Humboldt in Garberville, Calif., to the Birmingham, Ala., company's i-POWER core processing platform.
The conversion was the fourth in her career for CEO Shon Wellborn. “The issues that came up were resolved immediately, and while there's a learning curve on any new system, i-POWER is easy to learn and once you figure out where things are the workflow is intuitive,” she said.
The 4,900-member Community Credit Union of Southern Humboldt began operations in the heart of the California redwoods in 1980. It had been running on a Fiserv CUSA platform, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.
Credit union-owned EPL said it now serves 135 credit unions.
