Cleaning up trash along the road is normally not in Christopher Estes' job description as vice president of operations at the $1.4 billion Dow Chemical Employees Credit Union, but was on this August day. Estes and a group of his colleagues took on the task to help “beautify our little corner of the Midland community,” said DCECU President/CEO Dennis Hanson. They were joined by local State Rep. Jim Stamas. The team of 13 people filled 12 commercial-size bags from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Aug. 9.
