The 50,000 members of the Navy League of the United States will now turn to Pentagon Federal Credit Union as their preferred financial services provider.

The $15 billion CU in Alexandria, Va. said it will provide the Navy League with credit cards, vehicle loans and mortgages.

In April, PenFed said it added the league to its membership charter, which allowed it to open membership eligibility to the employees and voting members of the organization.

Founded in 1902, the Navy League of the United States is a civilian organization with nearly 50,000 members dedicated to educating American citizens and elected officials about the importance of sea power to U.S national security and supporting the men and women of the sea services and their families, according to its website.

With more than one million members, PenFed serves the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Department of Defense, and Department of Homeland Security personnel, members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, employees or volunteers of the American Red Cross, and others in the defense community and their families.
