Many Pennsylvania credit union CEOs think the CU tax exemption could be in jeopardy because of the government's need to raise revenue amidst the debt crisis.

Preliminary results from an online "quick poll" taken this week by the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association show 62% of 75 respondents so far feel the tax exemption could be in play.

Final survey results from the "Life is a Highway" poll, which over the last year has covered diverse topics ranging from director financial literacy to favorite travel locations, is expected on Thursday, the league said.
