Coastal Federal Credit Union has named Brad Miller chief financial officer.

Miller has over 15 years experience with credit union organizations and six years of experience in the credit card industry. According to the Raleigh, N.C.-based credit union, his broad expertise within the financial industry ranging from managing finance and information systems professionals to strategic planning, investment management, asset/liability management and  credit risk management will help further the $1.96 billion credit union's growth. 

Miller earned his bachelor's of science in business administration and accounting from the University of Kansas and his master's of business administration from Washburn University. He is a certified public accountant and chartered financial analyst. Miller serves as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, CFA Institute, and is a board member of Community America Credit Union.
