The $5 billion America First CU of Ogden, Utah is mourning the loss of its former chairman, Richard Miller, and two of its former directors.
Miller, a director for 21 years and a former vice chairman who died June 22, played a key role in guiding America First during its tumultuous fight with the banking lobby resulting in a multicounty, multistate field of membership. During his years of service, Miller served on every major committee from lending to finance and nominations to supervisory.
The Utah CU is also mourning the death of two former directors, Ed Oberg and Glen Hadley. Oberg, a director from 1978-1988, died June 8.Oberg was involved in many significant events in CU history. including a role in the Riverdale operations center.

Hadley began as a CU field representative in 1966 when the CU had assets of $13 million. He had served as chairman and vice chairman of the credit committee and held the distinction of being the CU's oldest volunteer.
