The $800 million Andrews Federal Credit Union is now offering remote-deposit capture service through desktop scanners to its 90,000 members around the world.

The Suitland, Md., institution has launched My Deposit, its name for the RDC solution Andrews Federal is using from CO-OP Financial Services.

The credit union said many of its 90,000 members are at military installations in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as other locations around the world. The CU also serves Joint Base Andrews in Maryland and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey and more than 200 select employee groups in those states.

"We're excited to be able to offer this convenient service to our members, especially those living in remote locations around the world," said Andrews Federal President/CEO Chris McDonald. "The initial feedback from our members has been very positive. We expect that a significant number of our members will sign up for the service in the coming months once they find out how easy it is to get started."
