The $1.7 billion NEFCU in Westbury, N.Y., has added support for Android devices to its mobile banking lineup.

iPhone and BlackBerry apps, a Web browser and text banking already were part of the year-old mobile banking service the 159,000-member NEFCU is offering, using technology from mFoundry of Larkspur, Calif.

"We are very proud that NEFCU was the first credit union on Long Island to offer a 'triple play' mobile banking solution and are excited to add the Android app as one of our many options," said Valerie Garguilo, the credit union's vice president of marketing and community relations.
