Past due for a revamp, Mid Cities Credit Union has recently unveiled a new website that makes it easy for members to learn more about everything from products and services to financial management tips.

The site, produced by credit union digital marketing agency Avant Garde Productions, uses Joomla, an open source website platform that allows the Compton, Calif.-based credit union to easily update pages internally without expert knowledge of html.

With an eye on convenience and easier navigation, the new website includes such new sections as an Education Center, Community Page and Business Services, which not only serves its business members but includes a B2B page where they can cross promote, network with each other. In addition, members now have quick link access to commonly used forms, and can submit their pay day loan alternative requests online.

"We're excited to present a new easy to navigate website for our credit union members," said Melia Keller, president/CEO of the over $25 million credit union. "With the advent of business member programs and a new emphasis on segmented membership products and education, we felt it important to redesign our website to better reflect our current core products and services."
