Students at Omaha's Conestoga Elementary School marked the end of the year with a pizza party sponsored by Centris Federal Credit Union. The $448 million Centris also sponsors Conestoga's in-house credit union branch, the only one at a primary school in Nebraska. The branch was open one day a week for savings deposits only and was intended to increase parental involvement in their children's lives through banking activity, and, of course, to help the kids learn to save money. The top two savers, Nathan and Jose, topped $1,000 each. They won a special lunch with Centris President/CEO Kevin Parks for that, and they lead off this slide show, too.
