Users of all three of the major mobile device platforms will find a home in the new service rolled out by the $470 million Smart Financial Credit Union in Houston.

The mobile service is free and available to current or previous enrollees in the credit union's home banking service. Apps are available for Apple, Android and BlackBerry devices, created by MShift Inc., a Silicon Valley-based mobile banking technology provider.

More than 3,100 members of the credit union's 78,000 members have signed up for the mobile service in its first month and nearly 45% of them have used the service more than 10 times since then, Smart Financial said.
