"BizKid$", the industry-backed PBS show on financial literacy and entrepreneurship for young people, has a new parent, the National Credit Union Foundation.

After a four-year run with the Washington Credit Union Foundation, fund-raising and administration of the Seattle-based show, now aired on 340 public TV stations, was taken over last week by the NCUF.

"This project has national scope and reach, and it is appropriate for the NCUF to take the reins," said NCUF Chairman Gary Oakland, CEO of the $9.6 billion BECU in Tukwila, Wash.
