The $135 million Oxford Federal Credit Union is now running on a Symitar Episys core processing system through the service bureau run by Synergent Technology Services of Westbrook, Maine.

The conversion took place earlier this month for the 15,700-member credit union with offices in the Maine communities of Mexico and Norway.

Oxford FCU had been running on a Fiserv XP2 platform, according to creditunion.com's Technology Survey.

The conversion process included six weeks of training for Oxford  FCU staff provided by Synergent, a subsidiary of the Maine Credit Union League that said it has now converted more than 50 credit unions to the Symitar platform, from Jack Henry & Associates, in the past five years.
