CU*Northwest said it will soon convert two more California credit unions to the CU*BASE core processing system.

They are the $12 million Cal Poly FCU of Pomona, Calif., and the $36 million Inland Valley FCU of Fontana, Calif. Both credit unions also will be using the CUSO's online, mobile and voice response systems, the Spokane, Wash., CUSO said.

"Cal Poly Federal Credit Union serves a technologically savvy membership on a Southern California university campus. Students demand innovation, but they have no money to pay for it.  CU*Northwest's affordable solution is the key to our future success," said CEO Barbara Bean. The 3,000-member credit union is currently an UltraData user, records showed.

Inland Valley CEO Charlie Papenfus said CUSO ownership and access to the cuasterisk.com network based at CU*Answers of Grand Rapids, Mich., also contributed to his credit union's decision.

CU*Northwest said it now has 16 credit unions using the CU*BASE platform with four more scheduled to be converted this year. All but one will be using the system online.
