Joe Brancucci, president/CEO of the $1.4 billion GTE Federal Credit Union in Tampa, Fla., has been tapped as the new chairman of CU Direct Corp. of Ontario, Calif.

Brancucci has served on CU Direct's board since 2004. He succeeds Marge McNaught, senior vice president, lending and support services at the $1.3 billion Premier America Credit Union in Chatsworth, Calif., who has served on the CUSO's board since 2003 and will remain as a board director.

In addition, two board members of CU Direct's nine-member board were up for re-election. Both board members, Jeff March, president/CEO of the $1.6 billion Citadel Federal Credit Union in Exton, Pa., and Barry Jolette, president/CEO of the $624 million San Mateo Credit Union in Redwood City, Calif., were re-elected to new three-year terms.

The CUSO's board of directors also elected board member John Lund, executive vice president at the $5 billion America First Credit Union in Riverdale, Utah, as vice chairman of the board, as well as Citadel's Jeff March as the board's secretary and treasurer.

The results of the CUSO's officer and board elections were held during CU Direct's Lending Redefined conference May 11 in Newport Beach, Calif.

CU Direct is the parent company of CUDL, Lending Insights, Lending 360 and CUDL Retail.
