North Jersey Federal Credit Union let its members show off their artistic talent and creativity this month by featuring their artwork in a local art show and contest. In March, members of the $188 million credit union submitted 27 “PG-rated” works of various artistic media, including painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, pottery and jewelry. The credit union displayed the artwork in two of its branch lobbies and held a judging and reception on April 27. Artist entry fees went to the North Jersey Federal Credit Union Foundation to support local education. The art show is part of the Paterson, N.J. credit union’s 75th anniversary celebration, and the artwork will be on display at its Paterson branch until May 19.
