A secure, online digital filing cabinet is now being offered to the 9,400 members of the $94 million Oregon Employees Federal Credit Union in Salem.

The free service is through Seattle-based doxo. Along with direct delivery of their monthly CU statements, members can store digital copies of tax forms, insurance policies, car titles, wills and other documents normally stored as paper.

Documents can be filed, printed or downloaded from the digital filing cabinet anytime. Doxo hosts the service, so no software or other installed infrastructure is required, the company said.

"Doxo is that perfect service that helps members secure their important files and helps the credit union manage operating expenses. Launching on doxo was very easy; we were integrated and live on the network in less than a month," said Otto Radke, vice president of information technology at OEFCU.

"The doxo digital file cabinet is very well aligned with the services of financial institutions," said Steve Shivers, doxo CEO.
