Wine Auction Aids Children’s Hospitals

The credit union industry has come through again for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the children and parents who rely on them.

The credit union industry has come through again for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the children and parents who rely on them. On March 25, the California and Nevada Credit Unions for Kids Wine Auction raised $270,000 for 11 hospitals in California and Nevada, passing $1 million as the total amount donated since the annual event began in 2006.

More than 300 people from over 75 credit unions, organizations and hospitals attended the event at Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa in Dana Point, Calif. In addition to 260 bottles of wine, attendees bid on other luxury items such as a Hawaii vacation.
