Prime Alliance, a leading mortgage origination CUSO, announced that Daniel Gilbert has taken the position of president of the CUSO, effective immediately.

Gilbert, a 30-year mortgage veteran, had been working as a consultant when the CUSO sought his services to help complete its merger with longtime technology partner Dexma in May 2010. The acquisition of Dexma brought the CUSO some community bank clients as well and Gilbert has helped the CUSO integrate those banking clients, the company said.

“Dan joined us last November to help us complete the combination of Prime Alliance and Dexma and to help us define our strategies for the coming years,” said Joe Brancucci, Prime Alliance's founder and chairman.

Gilbert said, “Prime Alliance has a storied history with remarkable opportunities for the future. Working with the team that wrote the history and the customers who made it possible, we'll find new ways to enhance the home lending experience for everyone involved in the process.”
