iPhone mobile banking apps and a personal financial management solution are new offerings from the $1.8 billion Service Credit Union in Portsmouth, N.H.

The mobile banking app offers balances, history, bill pay, transfers and branch and ATM locators to users of iPhones, iPod Touches and iPads. The FinanceWorks PFM from online banking vendor Intuit Financial Services provides expense tracking and other budgeting tools and aggregates transactions from more than 16,000 external financial service accounts, the credit union said.

"By offering our members state-of-the-art technology, Service Credit Union can better serve our online members. This is critical to our New Hampshire, Massachusetts and worldwide mobile membership," said Gordon Simmons, president/CEO of the 143,000-member credit union.
