After 40 years of service, Ticonderoga Federal Credit Union President/CEO Gregory D. Johnson has announced that he will retire effective April 5.

"I am grateful for the well-trained and dedicated staff and management team for these years, and the loyalty of the board and membership for the opportunity to have been part of the most dynamic growth in the history of our credit union," Johnson said. "I do believe that our best years are yet to come."

The board has tapped Chief Financial Officer Shawn M. Hayes to succeed Johnson as president/CEO. Hayes has 15 years of experience in management and holds a dual bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration.
