Advantis Credit Union President/CEO Ronald A. Barrick has been named to the Federal Reserve's Twelfth District Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council.

The nine-member council, which is made up of members from some of the nine states that encompass the Fed's San Francisco-based 12th District, meets twice a year with the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank's top executives.

"I am really excited about this opportunity to share the credit union perspective on the current economic climate and how to improve the economic health of our communities," Barrick said in a statement. "I am looking forward to representing Advantis Credit Union and my credit union colleagues when I share with the Federal Reserve what our members are actually experiencing on the ground and steps that might be taken to aid economic growth in the Pacific Northwest."
