CU Service Network LLC of Lakewood, Colo., said it is now in the process of helping the $83 million First Nebraska Educators Credit Union in Omaha launch online account opening.

The 13,000-member Omaha credit union will be using the Xpress Accounts platform from California-based MeridianLink Inc., a provider of online loan origination and account opening and funding solutions to more than 450 credit unions.

The service will allow 24-hour membership applications on the front end while providing credit reporting, ID verification, automated decisions and cross selling of loans and cards from the back end, CUSN said.
