Segmint Inc. of Akron, Ohio, said it has partnered with Sharetec Systems to make its personal digital relationship building technology available to the core processor's credit union clients.
Segmint's "micro target marketing" technology transparently finds trends and patterns in member transaction data and assigns tags to the transactions, producing information that can be used to deliver customized reward offers and generate fee income, the company said.
"Sharetec is an established technology provider, and the Segmint software will help credit unions develop a personalized relationship with their members online," said Rob Heiser, Segmint president/CEO. "We are very excited about Segmint's partnership with Sharetec and this unique opportunity to deliver Segmint's value to financial institutions that otherwise would not have access to this technology."
Sharetec Systems, based in Lino Lakes, Minn., provides its core processing and third-party solutions to about 330 credit unions through four regional partners: Bradford-Scott Data Corp. in Fort Wayne, Ind., Data Systems of Texas in Waco; GBS Corp. in North Canton, Ohio, and Northern Data Systems of Falmouth, Maine.
