The former CUDefense is now S1 Defense.
The online banking security operation is part of PM Systems Corp., an Internet banking specialist in Chapin, S.C., that Atlanta-based S1 Corp. bought last March.
"The S1 Defense team has demonstrated a commitment to providing leading security risk assessments, perimeter security programs and phishing intervention at a competitive price point for credit unions as well as community and regional banks," said Pierre Naude, divisional president for S1.
PM Systems now serves 174 credit unions, including 85 using the services of S1 Defense, said its general manager, Robert Broadwell.
Broadwell said PM Systems also has two new clients going live on its online and mobile banking platform in the next few weeks: the $639 million San Francisco Police CU in Pleasanton, Calif., and the $1 billion Pen Air FCU in Pensacola, Fla.
S1 now provides payments, online, mobile, voice and branch banking services to more than 3,000 organizations worldwide, the company said.
