Credit Union of Ohio is asking undergraduate students to submit short videos that reveal the impacts of positive and negative financial choices. Up for grabs is $7,500 in college scholarship money. The credit union's panel of judges will award $5,000 for the first place video and an online "people's choice" vote will determine the $2,500 recipient.

"This scholarship opportunity is meant to help students discover and share tips for financial responsibility, while taking a stab at earning some real money in the process," said Kim Hudson, vice president of marketing at the credit union. "It's very exciting to us when the students get involved and become influencers among their peers to spread the importance of good financial decisions."

The contest is open to Ohio State University undergraduates and CU of Ohio members who are undergraduates at any accredited university. The deadline for entries is Feb. 28.
